The volumetric range of depositing manifolds receives a pumpable mass directly from a tempering unit or continuous mixer. The product is directed into the manifold body to individual chambers via a pneumatically operated product control spindle. This is then dispensed through the nozzles by individual pistons located on top of the manifold body. The dispensing stroke of the pistons can be controlled by a pneumatic or servo controlled piston lift mechanism. Products such as aerated chocolate and cream can be deposited with no degradation to the cell structure.
Features such as suck back can be employed to avoid product tailing with this type of manifold.
Using our range of depositing systems the positions of the volumetric pistons can be accurately controlled using servo motors. Coupled with intuitive operator controls the amount and speed of the piston stroke can be easily changed to suit production requirements. With this level of control consistent depositing weights and features like suck back to control de-tipping can be achieved with excellent repeatability. |
