Pressurised
manifolds receive a pumpable mass directly from a continuous
mixer, tempering machine and in some cases a pump set. This enables the deposit of controlled amounts of product under system pressure
on to objects such as a flat band conveyor, biscuits and into moulds
etc.
Encapsulated manifolds
use the same depositing principles as pressurised manifolds but
with the feature of being able to deposit up to three different products
from the same nozzle over one product cycle (one shot). This is achieved by directing the independent product supplies through the manifold galleries.
Volumetric manifolds take
a pumpable mass directly from a dynamic mixer and using servo or
air driven pistons accurately deposit set product weights onto conveyors
and into moulds.
Sheeting manifolds can
deposit a consistent curtain of product to the required width.
Icing
fondant and cream are just some of the pumpable masses that can
be taken directly from a dynamic mixer and distributed through the manifold.
